Ikov RSPS Starter Guide: Training, Money and Bosses

Install Java and the official Ikov client

Ikov is free to play and requires Java. Download the client from ikovrsps.com, install Java through the linked Java download, create an account, and launch the client.

Use a password created only for Ikov. The old ikov-rsps.com address is not the current download destination.

Train combat, Prayer, and contracts together

Rock Crabs and the Slayer Dungeon are the beginner combat locations. Prayer altars provide fast Prayer experience. Skilling Contracts award large experience rewards for non-combat training.

Use bonus-experience weekends for the slowest remaining skills. Raise Prayer alongside the main combat style so the account is ready for boss mechanics.

Use one of five money routes

Ikov money comes from boss drops, skilling outputs, market trading, PvP rewards, achievements, and daily tasks. Nex, Corporeal Beast, and Zulrah are listed as valuable-drop bosses.

Skilling and daily tasks are the stable beginner routes. Bossing becomes the main route once combat, Prayer, and supplies support repeated kills. PvP pays through tournaments and Wilderness kills but risks carried equipment.

Progress from single bosses into raids

Ikov includes the four God Wars generals, King Black Dragon, Vorkath, Zulrah, Slayer bosses, custom bosses, Chambers of Xeric, and Theatre of Blood.

Begin with a single boss that improves the chosen combat setup. Enter raids after acquiring the switches, Prayer, and supplies needed for consistent completions.

Obtain gear from the correct activity

Raids provide Twisted Bow, Scythe of Vitur, and Justiciar armour. PvP points buy Korasi's Sword and Void equipment. Slayer targets such as Cerberus, Kraken, and Abyssal Demons provide combat upgrades. The Grand Exchange provides the tradeable alternative.

Choose one source and build backward through its requirements. A supporting Prayer or supply upgrade produces faster progression than an unusable prestige weapon.
